Started at TCIS: 2013
I believe that God uses every step and situation in our lives to prepare us for the next step. He has Blessed me in so many ways through each part of my life’s journey through growing up as an mk here in Korea, Uzbekistan, teaching in Turkey and China (two years each), and getting my masters in Youth Ministry. I am amazed with God’s ways and plans!! I never would have imagined being back in Korea, much less, working at my alma mater! ~ Jer. 29:11-13
During my work as the Boarding Office Assistant at TCIS, the Lord has worked in my own heart in many ways and has inspired me to share His love with others.

It was a blessing to be raised in a Christian international school atmosphere growing up as an MK in Indonesia. Teachers have left footprints in my heart with their Christ-like examples and dedication to love God and love students. I have always admired them and wished to inspire others to do the same. Coming to the boarding program in TCIS has given me an opportunity to share my experiences and be an example myself - to love the Lord my God with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my strength(Deut 6:5) and to love one another as Jesus loved me(John 13:34). I pray that students may have the opportunity to experience true love and genuine care through the boarding program!

Like many children in the dorm, I grew up as a Third Culture Kid (TCK). I have spent most of life overseas and experienced diverse cultures through different languages and education systems. I particularly treasure the 5 years that I was blessed to be in a Christian international school in Taiwan and am thankful to be serving at another Christian international school as a Resident Assistant. I strongly believe that this godly community could do a lot of good for the students who would open their hearts to the love each and every staff is so willing to give. I have personally gained so much genuine love and care from my friends, teachers, and mentors in my international school; I do hope to give back as much as I can and as much as God enables me.
