Our Diverse Community
Aside from exceptional academic offerings, TCIS is known for it's warm and welcoming community. TCIS community members bring to our school richness and variety from their homes all around the world. The TCIS community truly is like few others in Korea, offering a unique and advantageous environment for children to study in!
TCIS consists of an elementary school (Kindergarten through grade 5) and a secondary school (grades 6 through 12.) We have an enrollment of nearly 500 students with roughly 400 in secondary school and 100 in the elementary school. Our student body is made up of students from over 20 different nations and well over half of students hold international passports. The vast majority of our students are here for the international education that will best prepare them to enroll and succeed in universities within the USA, Canada and Europe.
TCIS employs a total of 150 faculty and staff that believe in the TCIS mission and are devoted to delivering and supporting an exemplary and international education. More than 60% of our secondary school faculty holds advanced graduate degrees and certifications. The TCIS faculty is from many countries around the world, such as the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, South Korea, China, Malaysia, Philippines, Columbia, Congo and Taiwan, and they bring such perspective and diversity from their homes that students are presented with a truly rich and diversified educational experience.
