The Stone Residence

Stone Dorm is a co-ed dorm. The dormitory sits immediately behind the TCIS campus. The dorm houses the Stone family, a female RA (Sarah Erdmann), a male RA (Scottie Poole), and welcomes 34 students (17 girls and 17 boys). In addition to student and staff apartments, the dorm also has a TV lounge, a recreation room, a laundry facility, a ‘noraebang’ and fitness room, a music room, a group study room, a sitting lounge, and a student kitchenette.

Wray and Laura Stone joined the staff at TCIS in August, 2002. Though both are from Canada, they have been residing in Korea, off and on, since 1996. While at TCIS, Wray taught English in the high school for three years before joining the boarding program in 2005; Laura worked in the Early Learning Center, as a caregiver and as Center Director. Wray continues to work with the counselor’s office assisting Seniors with their college application essays. Wray and Laura have three sons, Branford who is in grade seven (MS), Everett who is in grade four, and Theoren, age two.

Sarah Erdmann comes to TCIS from her hometown of Auburn Hills, Michigan. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor's degree in Illustration, and is currently pursuing the animation field. She loves making people laugh, creativity, and shrimp.

Scott Poole graduated from Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, PA with a degree in Marketing, and then moved to Woodland Park, Colorado to do youth ministry for 2 years.  In November of 2005, Scott came to TCIS.  He enjoys long walks on the beach, big hair, and pirates.
