A Solid Option for Education
TCIS is a K-12 international school in Daejeon, South Korea, offering all three IB programs and options for boarding care. As an international school, we offer a school model that has similar elements to those that might be found in the United States and the UK, educating according to American and international curriculum standards, and delivered within an English-speaking and western-based cultural context.
Our students come from more than 23 countries, and our faculty join us from all around the world. We are fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (USA) and authorized by the IB (international) to deliver the PYP, MYP, and DP programs. In addition, we offer a variety of opportunities for international competition and collaboration activities, and participation with clubs that hold importance in the community and international affiliations.
One thing that stands out about our community is an emphasis on character and values. We are a Christian school, offering opportunities for children to consider and grow in their faith, but families from many faith backgrounds and nationalities come together in our community, united in values of peace, justice, and caring service for others.
