Author Visit to Elementary: Kimba

Yesterday was a fun day in the Elementary School as we welcomed the incredible poet Kimba (kingkimba.com)!

He captivated our students with his dynamic way of speaking about the power of poetry and shared some of his own vibrant, creative works. It was a very interactive time, and Kimba created many opportunities for our students to shine as well.

The excitement didn’t stop there—Kimba spent time with each class, leading engaging writing workshops where students explored their imaginations and discovered the joy of expressing themselves through words. With a focus on parts of speech as a means for sparking creativity, students had a great time.

It was an unforgettable experience that left our budding poets feeling inspired. Thank you, Kimba, for sharing your talent and passion with us!
