Forensics Results for November
Dragon Drop Stories November 1, 2024
We’re thrilled to celebrate our incredible TCIS Forensics team, who made us proud at last weekend’s tournament! With over 25 students competing across nine diverse categories, our school demonstrated exceptional involvement and breadth of talent—an impressive achievement for a community of our size.
What made this event truly special was the courage and enthusiasm of our new competitors. Many students, including freshmen and foreign boarding students, stepped into this event and the spotlight for the first time, embracing the challenge and growing immensely through the experience.
In fact, our team’s diversity was a standout feature at the competition, bringing together students from different ethnicities, grade levels, and backgrounds—a true reflection of the TCIS spirit.
We’re delighted to share three highlight achievements from the TCIS Team:
• Ayden (Poetry) and Evelyn (Extemporaneous Speaking) made it to the finals, with Evelyn earning the distinction of being the only freshman finalist in her category!
• Heju, a remarkable freshman competing against mostly seniors, won an impressive 3rd place!
Congratulations to all our participants on their dedication, bravery, and growth. We are very proud of every one of you—you embody the TCIS commitment to excellence, risk-taking, and learning!
