Gr. 12 Water Treatment Project
Dragon Drop Stories March 20, 2025
Our 2025 IB DP G4 Project and Collaborative Science Exhibition at TCIS took on one of the world’s most pressing concerns: water issues. Each student group tackled real-world problems experienced by countries on nearly every continent. From scarcity to pollution, students explored real-world challenges, developing creative solutions grounded in biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science.
This annual project exemplifies the power of interdisciplinary learning—students collaborate across multiple scientific fields, hone their research and critical-thinking skills, and present their findings to the wider TCIS community.
We were also happy to welcome representatives from the Daejeon Ministry of Education, as they came to witness and understand the impact of both IB and TCIS approaches to education.
It’s a truly enriching exercise that goes beyond textbooks, equipping students with the opportunity to tackle global problems and inspiring them to become active contributors to a more sustainable future. We couldn’t be prouder of their innovative ideas and teamwork!
