SPROUT Club at Daejeon Science Festival

Our TCIS SPROUT Club took center stage at one of Daejeon’s largest science festivals—hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT—bringing hands-on learning to thousands of visitors from April 17–20!

Selected by Daejeon City for this prestigious event in “Science Town,” our students ran the “Vroom Vroom: Making Rubber Band Powered Cars” booth. Young engineers of all ages discovered energy conversion and Newton’s Third Law in action as they built and raced rubber-band-powered cars. Along the way, our SPROUT members honed their communication skills—learning how to explain complex STEM concepts to younger children and proudly representing TCIS in the community.
