Fall Sports Tryouts
Dragon Drop Stories August 18, 2022
TCIS Conference Sports tryouts have begun in high school!
Yesterday afternoon, dozens of high school students met officially with the Athletic Director and coaches for the first time this school year. It was a good turnout as information was shared, introductions were made, and many Dragons rejoined an ongoing legacy of competition and team building.
Athletes went on to their individual facilities to go through warmups and processes, and tryouts will continue this afternoon.
• BOYS & GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
• BOYS & GIRLS TENNIS
• BOYS & GIRLS CROSS-COUNTRY
Tryouts can be a stressful time in many schools. At TCIS, we like to encourage participation and risk-taking. As a smaller school community, we often find that more students have the opportunity to step out and take those risks – and find a place on a team that can challenge them and allows them to make meaningful connections.
We wish all of our conference team hopefuls a good second day of tryouts. Do your best, keep perspective, and be open-minded about the opportunities available to you. Good luck to all of our Varsity, JV, and Mixed Teams this season!
GO DRAGONS!
