First Week – Semester Two

Dragon Drop Stories January 13, 2023

Here we are at the end of the first week back from Winter Break. It was a chilly week, but how wonderful is it to be comfortable and warm on a cold day and to reunite with friends after time away?

Things have been quite busy, rejoining some things, beginning others, and getting all of our new students settled and up to speed. Once again, we would like to welcome all of our new families to TCIS. We sincerely hope that you are comfortable and finding things satisfactory so far. We are blessed to have you with us in our learning community, and please do reach out to those around you as you settle in.

Let's also share a bit of color on what is a bit of a grey, misty day in Daejeon? We found some photos from the end of last semester of Grade 10 art students working on a project. They are applying their research in 2d abstract art onto 3d abstract creations. [It looks so interesting – we want to try it too.)
