Grade 6 Science Lab - Boiling Points

These grade 6 students are performing a lab on boiling points. As elementary students, they have been involved in inquiry based learning for years. Now in middle school, they are beginning their inquiry with instruction on formal lab practices, tools for observation, recording best practices, and data-based interpretation of their observations.

It is one thing to see the learning that happens in a student's life over the course of a single year, but it is awe inspiring to see the kind of learning and growth that happens over multiple years of learning in an intentional environment.
