High School Academic Quiz Team

Congratulations to the TCIS Academic Quiz Team [AQT] for their performance at the KAIAC competition this past weekend.

The AQT is a fascinating activity as it enjoys the broad study of general and specific knowledge across many disciplines; for the purpose of competition. Students who engage in this activity pursue intensive study and recall practice.

It is a competition activity for students who simply enjoy knowledge.

While this is a team competition (TCIS having two competing teams), there are also individual performance standings as well. We would like to give a special congratulations to the following students. Out of more than 50 knowledgeable students competing at the tournament this past weekend, the following students placed in the top 50% for individual performance:

Nicholas V.W. ranked 3rd,
Christian S. ranked 15th,
Angela P. ranked 20th,
Hyonsan K. ranked 24th.
