 KAIAC Large Ensembles Event

Dragon Drop Stories  March 18, 2023

Congratulations to the TCIS HS Full Orchestra for receiving highest marks at the KAIAC Large Ensembles event – hosted here on our Techno Valley campus.

Each of the school ensembles were evaluated by three adjudicators, and TCIS received highest marks from all three adjudicators on thier performance. All schools performed admirably, and great feedback was shared, making this a great learning experience for all.

Congratulations and well done to our HS Full Orchestra!

The Korean-American Interscholastic Activities Conference exists in Korea to provide well-rounded activities opportunities to international and US Department of Defense schools in Korea. TCIS co-founded the organization in 1972, and we enjoy fantastic competition and collaboration today with 16 other schools.

* An interesting fact about KAIAC: The KAIAC logo has seen slight updates over the years, but it retains the same basic features of the logo created in 1986 by a TCIS student and teacher!
