LASA Trips Get "Green Light"

Senior student talks about her experience on the LASA Thailand trip

Did you hear? LASA Trips are starting again!

As things have continued to open up and settle down in Asia, more of the opportunities our students have traditionally enjoyed are available once again. One of the biggest and best-loved programs are the "Love All, Serve All" [LASA] international service trips.

Traveling to points around Asia, students engage in meaningful service and cultural experiences. They see with their own eyes how other people live and support the workers who are making a difference in meeting the needs in those places.

This year, student and faculty teams will join our friends in Chiangmai, Thailand (at the Grace Home), Manila, Philippines (Kids International Ministries), and Boracay, Philippines (with On the Rock Ministries.) These are long-time partners and old friends. We are SO HAPPY to be going in just a few short weeks!

More than 50 TCIS students and faculty will travel during the week of March 18-25th. Please keep them in your prayers, that they will have a meaningful experience and safe travels.

LASA Trips are a long tradition at TCIS and a major program for delivering its mission to "cultivate internationally-minded learners who lead in purposeful change." Every year, students retur to Korea changed by what they have seen and learned. Years later, they often cite them as some of the most impactful experiences of their lives.
