Meet the Teacher Night
Dragon Drop Stories August 26, 2022
Last night, TCIS parents and teachers met on our campus and classrooms for the annual "Meet the Teacher Night."
This annual event is held at the beginning of the school year as a way to share information, build relationships between teachers and parents, and begin the face-to-face communication process.
A good partnership between teachers and the parents is so helpful to a child meeting their potential. Open communication and the free sharing of relevant information between all stake holders is essential. "Meet the Teacher Night" is a great way to connect and reconnect for the growth of these partnerships.

We also had the first official meeting of the PTA (Parent-Teacher Association.) This is such an important and active group in our school. Touching once again on the relationship between parents and teachers, the PTA is about people working together for the good of the school as a whole. It is a way for everyone to step out of their individual working roles in the school and focus together on common over-arching initiatives that impact student learning and well-being.
Thank you to all of the parents and students who attended last night. We also thank the TCIS students who lent their time, language, and hospitality to helping those parents who visited the school.
It was a wonderful evening of community, and we are very thankful for it. We look forward to partnering closely with all of our parents throughout the school year and are excited to see what the year has in store for us as a school community.
