Middle School "House" Service

Dragon Drop Stories October 6, 2022

The Middle School House groups recently engaged in service projects to benefit UNICEF and the World Wildlife Fund. Student Houses planned, created, and sold "snack packs" to the community after lunch. It was a fun time, a good cause, and a great display of teamwork.

The TCIS House groups are a construct for connecting students and a format for building meaningful collaborative programs. Students operate in their House for activities, fun and social events, service projects, and many other areas.

A House earns points for their work together, and individuals earn points for their House through displays of positive character and community investment. The program is steeped in meaning and TCIS tradition (the Houses are even named after TCIS colors: Black, Gold, Grey and White.)

Well done, to the Obsidian House, Gold House, Platinum House, and Ivory House!
