G4 Science Project Exhibition
Dragon Drop Stories March 28, 2023
Prior to Spring Break, our high school science department hosted the TCIS G4 Project Exhibition.
The G4 Project" is a compulsory IB project for grade 12 science students, requiring engagement in collaborative work within a multi-disciplinary scientific project. Students receive a broad community-focused prompt or issue to guide their direction. Teams then meet to discuss the prompt/issue and how it relates to the TCIS community, research the scientific and cultural implications, and then create an artistic or technical product that helps to educate and raise awareness of the issue.
It is a short, high-energy endeavor that inspires vigorous discussion and creation. This is an IB event that aligns very well with our STEM and Arts focus, and it also aligns well with our community approach to learning. All grades, K-12, were invited to view the G4 Project Exhibition, hear the presentations, and discuss with the senior science students.
Congratulations, Seniors, on another academic milestone completed – and completed so well!
