TCIS Boarding Care - A Good Start

As the academic and activities programs are now running at full speed for the 2022-2023 school year, there is another HUGE program and community in the TCIS organization that works hard to care for students.

Operating with the same mission to cultivate internationally-minded learners who lead in purposeful change, the Boarding Care Program works diligently through the before/after-school hours to enhance the student learning experience and provide a home away from home. With patient love and intentional care, the Boarding Care faculty create a family atmosphere that caters to child wellbeing and academic success.

These first couple of weeks have focused on "settling in." Much effort has gone toward orientation, making social connections, establishing study practices, and creating fun activities that help students find balance in this learning community.

If you aren't familiar with the TCIS academic or Boarding Care communities, we would have you know that we are very much like a close family. Our Boarding Care Alumni often come back and share that their dorm years were some of the most memorable and influential of their lives.

This year is off to a great start in all areas of TCIS! We hope you enjoy a few candid photos of these first couple of weeks in the dorms – new friends, old friends, good starts, and great memories!
