Chuseok Celebration in TCIS Elementary

This week, our elementary students gathered for an afternoon of celebration to welcome the Chuseok holiday! Together they enjoyed traditional Korean dancing, crafts, games, songs, and of course – delicious treats. 

We believe it’s important for students to learn about traditions – especially those of our beautiful host country, Korea. Celebrating together not only builds cultural understanding but also helps our students appreciate the values of gratitude, family, and community that Chuseok represents. 

International education is not about making students into a global standard, but it's about helping each student represent the best of their culture in a global world.
