Weekend Fun at the Chilgapsan Ice Fountain Festival

Last weekend, many of our TCIS Elementary families bundled up and headed out together to the Chilgapsan Ice Fountain Festival for a day of winter fun! Though this was not an official school event, it was a beautiful picture of what makes our community so special.

Students, parents, and siblings spent the day sledding, ice skating, exploring snow and ice sculptures, and enjoying roasted chestnuts and sweet potatoes. It was definitely a cold day—but the laughter, shared stories, and simple joy of being together made it feel warm.

We love seeing how our families choose to spend time with one another outside of school, because they genuinely enjoy being together.
