Grade 10 Guest Pottery Lesson

Hands in the Clay, Culture in the Heart

Our Grade 10 students recently had the privilege of learning slab pottery techniques from a guest artist, Ms. Baek Sun-young. It was an immersive, hands-on experience that connected art-making with Korean cultural heritage.

Through carving and shaping, students explored traditional Korean motifs, gaining appreciation for both aesthetic symbolism and ceramic craftsmanship. It was a moment where creativity met culture.

Students will now use their newfound skills to design and create something that represents themselves and their unique stories.
