Rocket Cars & PBL Showcase
Dragon Drop Stories March 25, 2026

Speed, creativity, and discovery all came together in an unforgettable CO₂ Rocket Car & PBL Showcase last week at TCIS.
The excitement was undeniable as students launched their CO₂-powered cars down the track – each run met with cheers, anticipation, and the thrill of seeing their designs come to life. Measuring speed and analyzing performance wasn’t just about numbers; it was about applying learning in real, tangible ways.
Beyond the races, the showcase highlighted the depth of student learning throughout the unit. From design thinking and scientific investigation to communication and humanities, as well as art, students proudly shared the outcomes of their integrated work. Every project told a story of creativity, problem-solving, and growth.
Moments like these capture what learning looks like at TCIS – hands-on, collaborative, and deeply meaningful. When students have the opportunity to explore, create, and present, they don’t just learn… they own their learning.
A powerful example of what it means to learn, love, and lead.
