CICA Museum Art Contest Winner
Dragon Drop Stories January 28, 2026
We’re excited to celebrate Minsoo, a Grade 11 DP Art HL student, whose work has been selected for exhibition in “CICA – Possibilities: The Next Generation 2026” at the international CICA Museum.
What began as an exploration in coding has evolved into a powerful interactive media artwork titled Shadow. In this piece, AI tracks the viewer’s body and transforms it into shifting black ink–like pixels, creating a living “shadow” that learns to imitate human movement. As the figure slowly becomes more accurate, the work raises deep questions about identity, data, and the future relationship between humans and technology.
We are incredibly proud of how Minsoo has blended art, technology, and critical thinking to create a work that is both visually striking and conceptually rich – exactly the kind of creativity and courage we hope to nurture at TCIS.
His work is currently on display at CICA Museum, Seoul. Please join us in congratulating Minsoo on this remarkable achievement and international recognition!
