Elementary Chuseok Celebration

Last week, our Elementary School came together to celebrate Chuseok, the Korean harvest festival, and what a joyful day it was!

Chuseok is a time for gratitude, family, and coming together. At TCIS, it's also a wonderful chance for global learning. Students from around the world got to experience Korean traditions firsthand, while our Korean students had the pride of sharing their own heritage with friends from many different cultures.

Our students dressed in hanbok, played traditional games, and learned about the customs and meaning behind this beloved holiday. Seeing our children teach one another, ask curious questions, and celebrate side by side is exactly what being an international community is all about.

At TCIS, we believe that understanding our own culture and respecting others' cultures go hand in hand. Days like this help our students grow into confident, curious, and caring global citizens.
